Hey there! Hope all of you are enjoying this last week of your break before we get back in to early mornings! It will be worth it since we will get to dance again!!! Practice next week will be at the Stake Center located across from the hospital on Sage. The high school and middle school gyms will still be curing (the floor isn't ready) and volleyball has their camp in the old gym. Thank you for being flexible with that. I am also extending it to 3 hr practices since we have SO much to do in SO little time! If by the end of the week we find that it is not needed we will cut back to 2 hrs.
Pictures: Shayla will be doing our pictures again this year and we have set a date! Monday, August 13th (the Monday the week that school starts) we will meet at Shayla's house in Flowell at 6 PM. Please wear jeans (no rips, tears, or holes) gray tops with black accessories, and your gray team tennis shoes. If you do not have gray please call around to your teammates and friends to see if you can borrow something, or else you can buy something new if you wish. Hair can be however you would like. Please do it nicely and have nice make-up on as well. It will be $20/ girl for a team photo and your photo shoot and then Shayla will have prices if you would like to buy other pictures we take on that day. She also does a CD-ROM deal that is pretty good. I will get her to make up a sheet to give to everyone so you have an idea for other pricing. You are welcome to bring other team attire or planned attire to do buddy pictures with sisters, friends, classes, etc.
Directions to Shayla's: Head as if you were going to Fillmore. When you get to the "Y" where the two highways meet, turn right instead of going around the bend. When you get to the stop sign (by the big blue building) turn right to go towards Flowell her house is at the end of the road on the left. 4573 w 500 n is the address.
Parents: You will need to stick around to take the girls to another location. If you would like to work out car pools in groups that is fine as long as you are a parent.
Driving Tri-Dels: If you are not legally supposed to have passengers in your car, I would strongly advise that you follow this law, especially on this day. This is a Tri-Del event and a longer than normal drive. Please be wise!!!!
If you have any questions please contact me! Thanks!
Hi! Do you have a schedule of weekend commitments/competitions/practices/activities through the school year? or even until December? The nursing schedule at the hospital is made out 5 weeks in advance, and I work weekends there. I love being a Tri-Del mom on regular school days, but it would be helpful to schedule the times I need to be a Tri-Del mom on the weekends, too:) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteStephanie- everything that I know of thus far for weekends is posted on the calendar below including all but one of the competitions (which take all day). I do still need to add one competition (that I haven't picked yet), the craft show, and probably two saturdays to learn kick and military. Those learning days will be mostly just for the girls and the other competition will be either December or January. I will schedule the craft show as soon as school starts and I can work out a date with the school. Thanks for your involvment, I appreciate your help and support as a parent!
