Choreography Days and 4th of July Info

Choreography Days:  I like to take a couple days for each of our competition routines and use them to learn entire routines.  This way, we don't keep getting cut off from short practices and having to review and catch back on the next day.  This first one is short notice mostly due to me trying to figure out the best days since we have so many people gone during the summer and so much moratorium on top of that.  If any of the girls miss choreography days, I may or may not space them out of a routine.  This does not mean they wont be in it, it only means that I need them to show me that they learned it outside of practice before I will space them in.  The girls also know whether or not they were "on the border" of being in the routine.  If they were one of these girls and they happen to miss choreography days, they will be spaced out until they show me that they have worked to be put back in.

Dates for Choreograhy:  Friday, June 22, 6:00-9:00 AM   AND   Saturday, June 23rd,  6:00-10:00 AM.  (They are scheduled this early for specific purposes, beileve me if I did not have to get up that early I wouldn't!)  I will post these times on the Calendar.

4th of July:  Each girl will need to bring a bag of candy to throw.  Please bring a decent sized bag (not just a regular sized candy bag).  The taffy bags or tootie fruitie bags that they sell at quality would be a good example as a "decent" sized bag.  I am still awaiting information as to when the parade will start and what time the girls will need to be there.  I will let you know and post it on the calendar as soon as I find out.  We will meet in the Lake Phil Gas parking lot before the parade to line up.

Request:  I am looking for a parent (mom or dad)  that has truck and would be willing to drive us through the parade.  I will need to sit in the back with the sound system to run the music and my husband will be taking our kids to the parade, so I am in need of a driver and a vehicle.  Please contact me if you are willing to be this person!  Thank you so much parents for all your support!

Camp:  Camp was Great!!  Despite some health glitches that are in the process of being taken care of, the girls really had lots of fun bonding and building their dancing technique.  I think thier heads might be ready to explode with all the new dances they learned!  It was really cool to watch them in their technique classes and finally see a few things "click" in their brains!  It is really rewarding to physically watch them grow as people, sisters, and dancers right before your eyes!  Thanks for sending them off with me for those few days!  I am sure they were sleepy heads that you couldn't get much out of they day after they got home!

Technique:  Nichole Riding is new in town and is offering the Tri-Dels a smokin' deal!!  We are going to work together to find one day out of the week for the girls to take a technique class together.  It will be during the school year just one night a week.  We will sit down with the girls and decide which night is going to work best for the majority of the girls.  This will not be a required class, but I would STRONGLY suggest and hope that everyone take it!  She is only going to charge $3 a class for each girl.  If you have been involved in taking studio classes, than you know that you would never find an opportunity like this anywhere else!  I will let you know of the details once we get them sorted out, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.  Nichole is probably also someone that could do private lessons, other regular technique classes, or even help with your solos should you choose to audition for a spot.  I will only help seniors with thier solos so that there is no bias when it comes time to choose who will be competing thier solos at competition.

Please always feel free to contact me if you are having any questions or concerns!
