LOTS!

Ok, here we go!  Lots to catch up on!

I will try to be better at getting you parents assembly info! Sorry if you missed them dance this morning!
Wednesday is the evening assembly at 7PM in the DHS Auditorium
         (Girls will only be doing flag)
Friday is the Spirit Bowl assembly in the Palladium Time?? Not Sure
Friday there is a parade at 10AM  Not sure of the route they take.  Girls will all need to bring a bag of candy. 
Game is Friday at 7PM.  Make sure to check if you are working concessions or not.  I have had a request to get more parents there for this game, but no one has offered.  So, if you are not scheduled to work that game already and would like and extra shift, please contact me asap!

I have updated the calendar on the blog so check it out!  All boys and girls home varsity basketball games are on there (16 or 17 games I think!!)  If the girls bodies are getting too tired during their competition season we may take a few of them and just go cheer the teams on instead of dancing.  I have also added all of the competitions we will be going to.  All of the dates are there, but times of leaving and performances will come to you at a later date.  I will also post hotel information as soon as I can so that parents can make arrangements at the same hotels if desired.  I have also posted the Craft show that will be on October 6th.  We will need help from the parents for this one (probably all parents)  so please make arrangements to have that day free if at all possible and details will be to you SOON! 

Jennifer Ball is our Great Basin Competition Director this year and she has already been working so hard to start getting this thing organized.  We will be scheduling a parent meeting to discuss/sign up for parent assignments.  If there are certain evenings of the week that you CAN NOT attend a meeting, please text me so I can make note of that.  I would like to get as many parents there as possible.  It will probably be end of September/ beginning of October and around 7 PM. 

LaRene Rawlinson is in charge of parent shirts this year and we will try to have everything ready so that you can order your shirts at that parent meeting.  We highly encourage our cheering section to wear these shirts at competition so the girls can see you guys as they perform and know that they are fully supported!

I know I am probably forgetting something, but we will leave it at that for now.  If you are feeling lost or have questions about anything just txt or call me and I will be glad to get you the information you need!  Thanks everyone for so much support of me and the girls!  We all appreciate it!  I am just so thankful for the respect that your wonderful daughters give me!  You have raised them right and I wouldn't want to have any other group!  Thanks!

Technique Class and Picture Orders

Sorella Dance Company is giving the Tri-Dels a smokin' deal!!  Although it is not mandatory that every Tri-Del be in attendance every week, it is highly recommended (especially if you know you struggle with technique).  Every Thursday from 5:45 PM-7:00 PM is a technique class for advanced dancers.  The classes are held at Studio Rev (the old museum building where they also do Zumba classes).  Please bring $4.00 each time you attend a class.  You will have a hard time ever finding a dance class this cheap again! (especially for the quality of class given).  Classes will be taught by Niqole and Tiffany.  If you want to sign up for more of their dance classes or have questions about their studio please visit sorelladance.blogspot.com. 

I have sent home with each girl a packet containing one CD with all your daughter's pictures (printable up to 4x6), a team picture, and an order form.  If you would just like to order a couple pictures then please fill out the order form according to what you would like.  Shayla can do blk/wht, sepia, and other special effects if desired.  Just make note of what you would like and what size you would like it in on the form.  Prices of the different sizes are also listed in the packet.  She can also get you another CD of the same pictures that can be printed up to 5x7 or 8x10 (depending on how much you want to pay).  Please have all of these order forms turned in by MONDAY SEPTEMBER 10th AT PRACTICE.  If you do not turn one in, I will just assume that you are good with the team picture and a CD of 4x6 printable pictures.  Thanks girls!  I think you are all so photogenic and gorgeous!!
